There are two main sources of grant funding for this sector:

Phase 2 of the BERR's Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP). Is a UK wide fund of £48M administered by BRE.

Framework Suppliers have been appointed to oversee the supply and installation of microgeneration technologies under Phase 2 of the Low Carbon Buildings Programme. In order to qualify for a grant, applicants are required to enter into agreements with one or more of these suppliers. Renewables Connection already has a working relationship with many of these companies and will be happy to ensure that any quotes obtained on you behalf are grant eligible.

Applications are being accepted now. It is currently anticipated that funds will be committed through to mid-2009, but this will depend on the actual rate of applications.

Public sector and charitable bodies are also eligible for grants under Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase 1.
